Defenders Covers: SECRET DEFENDERS

The Secret Defenders only ran 25 issues before being cancelled. Possibly because it lacked the character continuity associated with its predecessor. Possibly because the writing was poor. Possibly the characters used in the series were simply not popular. For many fans, the Defenders were Dr. Strange, the Hulk, Namor, Valkyrie, Nighthawk, Gargoyle and a few others.
